Our Principal

Welcome, Tena Koutou, Talofa Lava
I am hugely proud to be the Principal of Peterhead School. A school that
has grown over the years and has become known for its innovation, pupil
success and dynamic inclusive culture; teachers that support and enhance
individual student strengths.
Our school vision reflects what we believe as a school and learning
community that we want for all our students (see detail in our Charter).
Our success as a school is based on the relationship we have with our parents,
caregivers and whanau. We want to work with you all to make your child's time and
experience at Peterhead School rich and rewarding so that individually they can contribute to fulfilling their potential in a fast paced, ever changing world.
Our schools three kete Maramatanga - I think, Manaakitanga - I care and Whanaungatanga - I belong capture the essence of what Peterhead School is all about, achievement, attitude and relationships.
We are recognised as being a forward thinking school with literacy (reading and writing) and Numeracy (mathematics) having always been a priority. Peterhead School also offers a digitally enriched learning environment for children as well as providing very strong cultural, arts and sporting opportunities.
As a school we are inclusive and strive to provide learners with the best opportunities and resources to fulfil their potential.
We look forward to providing your child during their time here with the skills, attitudes, confidence and knowledge that they will require to participate in the world they are living in.
I look  forward to meeting you and your family or just pop in and see us in action - have a look around or email/ring if you have any questions about Peterhead School.
